This is a really fascinating house and we have had a lovely time. We have enjoyed our meals in the Sun on the deck, we caught a crab or two. There are so many fascinating things to look at on the walks. Altogether we have had a really good time.

Well we have had a fantastic holiday here – didn’t want to go home – it is so relaxing, loved seeing the water from the windows and decks. So warm and cosy as well and the lovely comfy bed – bliss!!
Fowey is beautiful – not at all what we expected and we have been very lucky with the weather.
Tried the chip shop (very nice) and the pasties and bread (delicious) from the bakery. All in all a wonderful time – so - thank you!

I like paying games and crabbing.

Excellently appointed cottage, thank you – very comfortable. Unfortunately we put our rubbish out, date as appointed, but it was not collected so we put it in the yellow bin on the lower balcony.

Our third wonderful holiday at Ferrymans Cottage. Crab fishing, kayacks, swimming from the jetty and diving off the deck.
Langallos beach (sp.?) really worth a visit. We have visited so many – but still love it here in Fowey the most!
Looking forward to the next time we are back.

Thanks for a lovely stay. Everything was great on arrival. We have tried to leave everything in order when leaving. There are 3 recycling sacks between doors on lower decking and there’s a fresh Pollock caught 14/4/11 in the freezer all prepared. All towels still folded are clean and unused.

Today we got up and got ready to go out. As soon as we were all ready we set out on our walk to the key to get the boat to Polruan and saw the lifeboat and we got to go inside and it was VERY BIG and very cooool and then we came home and me and my brother went crab fishing.

This is our 4th holiday in Ferrymans and have had a great family holiday once again. Our little kids who first came 8 years ago are now big kids and still enjoying this wonderful relaxing holiday. We shall be back. Weather has been good as well.

I have absolutely loved it and don’t want to leave now. Feel at home, went to Eden Project, it was fantastastic (fantastic). We went to shop, watched the plant takeaway, went to the biomes - one hot and one quite cold. In the Mediterean biome had dancing, I got asked to go up and said “no” now I regret saying “no” to the dancing. I didn’t go up because I felt nervese.

Our first visit to Fowey, we have had a super holiday, loved the cottage and Fowey.
We have never holidayed with such a well equipped kitchen, few bumps and bruises from tall husbands but all in fun for us short wives. All loved crabbing, adults particularly enjoyed the view. Cottage really comfy, felt at home and relaxed as soon as we arrived.
Weather has been great all week. Beaches visited were: Ready Money, Par and Carlyon Bay, the kids liked Part especially.
We visited Eden Project and had great day all adults (4) and all children (3) had great face paintings. Would love to come back again in the near future.
Ducks and Swans require feeding daily and crabs are partial to bacon and BBQ food!

Came to Fowey for bucket and spade/crabbing holidays when the children were small, now back with them as adults. Still enjoying crabbing! Lovely teas at the Dwelling House, food at Tiffins very good.
N.B. re previous comment on tumble drier, it does work, but not as fast as a “dedicated” drier (i.e. not combined with washer). Need to make sure you’ve done a 1,200 spin first and not put more than 2kg wet washing in: then takes about 55 mins, which is what the handbook says.
We’ve loved the cottage, very relaxed, and much appreciated, such a well-equipped kitchen.
Hope the next visitors have better weather than we have – but we’ve had a great week and will be back next year.
PS Sam’s Bar is worth a visit for cocktails and atmosphere!

Two week’s family holiday excellent, back for 3 weeks next year! Great house with excellent crabbing balcony. Don’t want to go back home. Only small negative note is the noise of the toilet when you flush it, it sounds like the horn on a ship (honk). We especially like the kitchen area and the nice walk into town. We have been to Polruan, Eden Project, Falmouth, St Ives and St Austell. The weather has been lovely.
See you again soon.

Had a great week and enjoyed the quirkiness of the cottage very much – not too many bangs on the head.
Found the sitting room carpet badly stained when we arrived and managed to clean most of the tea/coffee/cola stains, but the stickier black spots defeated me. Maybe a professional shampoo is in order.
PS. Window cleaner left his card after cleaning the windows.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, weather has been good for most of our stay. Just a few showers today. Cottage well equipped, will be back next year.
Fishing improved as the time went on.

No complaints at all. A lovely cottage, great position, well equipped (kitchen has everything) and the WiFi was much appreciated. The two decks are great for the morning sun and watching the river activity.
‘Safe Harbour’ pub up the hill from the church has a lively friendly quiz night on Tuesday – food is OK. Lotwithiel has a lovely restaurant ‘Trewithens’, probably need to book.
Thanks to the owners for their great value holiday home.

I loved every element of our holiday equally and definitely would like to come back. Even watching the ferry can sometimes be entertaining. Thank you for letting us stay here.
P.S. I think crab fishing may actually have been best – though everything else was just as much fun.

Thank you so much, what an amazing cottage. Very cosy with everything we needed and more. I’ve really enjoyed tea in bed in the morning looking out. The Hall walk was lovely, as was the ice ream reward in Polruan.
Thanks again.
Oh - and by the way – bin day is on Wednesday now!

Doug and Doreen who love Cornwall brought Nikki and Andy, Simon, Lisa and Emily. Fed the ducks, with leftovers from the bread shop, fed them at 7.00 a.m. and woke all up. Weather poor but wonderful views. Walked to Polkerris, had a great pub lunch, to Lanteglos church and Lantic Bay and Bodinnick Ferry and Polruan Ferry and back. Had a wet but very pleasant day at Heligan and an excellent meal at Tiffins and pasties from the deli.
To Restormel Castle, where we saw a dipper and an angry cat.
Let us hope we can come again with four grandchildren, not just me!

Good weather first couple of days and then not too good for that week. Second week weather fantastic. The cottage is excellent, only a couple of issues, toilet when flushes sometimes makes a noise like a steamboat horn and dryer does not work properly, clothes came out wet, even when drying on their own. Fantastic cottage for families, plenty of room. They did also try to scare us by tying string to the bell then making it ring, not very good for us adults after a couple of drinks. Will definitely be back to stay here.
We have also left some things, sugar, hand wash soap, veg. oil, for next guests.
There is however no skip for other rubbish apparently due to cut backs and we didn’t have transport to take it.
Thanks again.
